Android Studio is a new environment for Android development based on IntelliJ IDEA. Similar to the ADT plugin Eclipse Android offers Studio Tools for Android development and debugging of embedded developers. On top of the ability that you expect from IntelliJ, Android Studio offers:
- Gradle build support function.
- Refactoring specific Android and quick fixes.
- Tools for the capture of fiber performance, ease of use, compatibility version and other problems.
- Capacity ProGuard and application signature.
- To create wizard-based templates and common components designs Android.
- A rich design-editor, with which you can drag UI components, drawings preview in multiple display configurations and more.
Warning: Apps studio is currently in preview to quickly access available. Several functions are incomplete or have not been performed, and errors may occur. If you do not feel comfortable with an unfinished product, you can load up (or reuse) the ADT Bundle (Eclipse plugin ADT).
